Vive Le Punk

Dudeski Ltd presents a Danny Garcia Film, Vive Le Punk, a documentary celebrating 50 years of UK Punk Rock featuring Sham 69, 999, Ruts DC and The Boys among others.

Saturday, July 18th // Doors 5:30pm // Movie 6:30pm

GA Seated $15 : https://tickets.venuepilot.com/e/vive-le-punk-2026-07-18-the-rabbit-box-theatre-seattle-c5eb9e * Taxes and Fees will be applied at point of sale

50 years after the British Punk explosion, this documentary follows four bands that are still active today (Sham 69, 999, Ruts DC and The Boys) and features interviews with Charlie Harper, Joe Corre, Dr. John Cooper Clarke, Gaye Advert and other Punk Rock luminaries in search for the meaning of Punk and the relevance of its message today.

5 decades after the explosive birth of British Punk which shook the foundations of music and culture, Vive Le Punk dives headfirst into the raw, undying spirit of the movement that changed music—and society—forever...or did it?.

Featuring four iconic bands still rocking the stage today—Sham 69, 999, Ruts DC, and The Boys—the film chronicles their enduring legacy while showcasing their ongoing journeys in the modern era. Through exclusive interviews, candid conversations, and behind-the-scenes access, we follow these punk pioneers as they continue to defy expectations and challenge the status quo.

In addition to the intimate band interviews, the film features a powerhouse lineup of Punk luminaries—Charlie Harper (UK Subs), Joe Corré (Punk entrepreneur and son of Malcolm McLaren and Vivienne Westwood), Dr. John Cooper Clarke (the punk poet laureate), Gaye Advert (The Adverts) and author/DJ Chris Sullivan among others, who share their reflections on the movement's lasting impact.

As we follow the bands in their daily lives and on stage, the documentary asks the burning questions: Is Punk still relevant? What does Punk mean in a world still full of inequality and unrest? How do these bands stay relevant and connected to the same rebellious energy they first ignited? What does the message of Punk still offer to a new generation looking for something real?

With rare archival footage, explosive live performances, and an unflinching look at the punk ethos in today’s world, this film is not just a retrospective—In a world that mirrors the one Punk once railed against, is the message still relevant—or has it been consumed by commercialism?. This film should appeal to every generation of rebels, misfits, and outsiders. Punk may have started as anarchy in the streets, but it’s far from finished. Vive le Punk!

Named a “triple threat” by Bluegrass Unlimited, Abbie has made a name for herself as one of the only solo dobro troubadours in the country. Don’t let her infectious smile fool you, beneath that radiant exterior lies the soul of a fierce and fiery slide guitar player. You might know her best from her work with Americana darlings Red Molly, but Abbie Gardner centered her own gritty, sweet tales of love and loss on her 2022 solo album DobroSinger. It reached #11 on the Billboard Blues chart. She's a Kerrville New Folk Finalist (2025) and was nominated for Folk Alliance International's Artist of the Year (2025). Her live show is truly unique - heartfelt vocals and warm stage presence, backed up by top notch picking on an instrument that is more typically in the background. Come for the heartfelt, intimate ballads and stay for the raw, bluesy picking. Gardner’s got all your musical bases covered.

"Abbie is leaving her mark by trailblazing a new path. She has fused her dobro playing, singing, and songwriting into a seamless vehicle of musical expression. If you have never seen Abbie live you owe it to yourself to do so… and if you have seen her live…you know what I am talking about." - Mike England, Bluegrass Unlimited

Ahead of her Edinburgh Festival Fringe debut in August, Amanda Knox is bringing her first full hour to the Rabbit Box Theater with a striking new one woman show that blends storytelling with unflinching honesty and humor.

Amanda Knox is approaching forty, juggling motherhood, and finally getting around to being furious about the whole wrongful-imprisonment thing. Especially when half the world is telling her to get over it, while the other half still thinks she’s guilty. How on earth will she explain it all to her daughter, who is now asking to hear the story of “Mama Goes to Italy”? And can she protect her from, well, everything, knowing her own mother couldn’t protect her no matter how hard she tried?

Amanda Knox is an author, journalist and exoneree who has transformed global notoriety into bold, boundary pushing storytelling. After spending four years in an Italian prison for a crime she did not commit, she reclaimed her narrative through her writing, television and film projects, her memoir Free: My Search for Meaning, and her podcast Hard Knox.

Particular Ferns is the folk-pop project of Kevin Emerson from Seattle bands Model Shop and Math and Physics Club. Ferns draws from the early 00's stylings of Aimee Mann, Elliott Smith, and Wilco, with dashes of The Flaming Lips and Camera Obscura, to create a moody, introspective, and occasionally soaring cocktail of world-weary, empty-nest-core hope. The Ferns are working on their debut LP and playing in widening circles around the PNW.

Asher Deaver is a singer songwriter, artist and luthier. He is most known for his role as the lead singer for the indie-rock band Old Coast, and the owner of Blackcap Guitars, a custom guitar shop based out of Seattle, WA.

Kate Dinsmore is a singer-songwriter based in Seattle, WA. A dynamic performer and vocalist, Dinsmore brings her songs to the stage with an undeniable presence. Her music is powerful and emotional, with influences ranging from Jazz to Rock to Americana. Dinsmore’s performances quickly gained a following in Seattle, allowing her to open for notable artists such as Pat Benatar, Colin Hay, and the Dip. Her voice is triumphant and intimate. The perfect soundtrack to dropping off the last of your ex’s stuff and driving off into the sunset.

Spyglass / Dandelioness / Halley Gregg / Old Man of the Woods

The Rabbit Box presents Spyglass / Dandelioness / Halley Gregg / Old Man of the Woods

Wednesday, Aug. 12th // Doors 6:30pm // Show 7:30pm

GA Seated $15 adv. / $20 door: https://tickets.venuepilot.com/e/spyglass-dandelioness-halley-gregg-old-man-of-the-woods-2026-08-12-the-rabbit-box-theatre-seattle-5de736 * taxes & fees will be applied at point of purchase

Spyglass is a Seattle-based alternative rock project created by Louisiana born singer/songwriter Kaitlin Montero. Formed in 2014 in Lafayette, Louisiana, Kaitlin used music to cope with the trials and tribulations (as well as celebrate the joys and wonders) of growing up in the Deep South. After relocating to Seattle in 2021, Kaitlin reunited Spyglass with a renewed spirit, enlisting a close-knit group of friends and talented musicians to bring new life to the project. With songs born from earnest hearts, Spyglass exists to provide sonic experiences for the tenderhearted.

Arkansas-based Dandelioness is known for her radioactive falsetto, visceral performances, and the strange, hypnotic spell she casts on every room she steps into. Equal parts bohemian goth, cosmic diarist, and mischievous shadow-work guide, she turns rock clubs into listening rooms and listening rooms into portals. Onstage, Dandelioness growls, croons, or levitates in falsetto; she treats the act of performing like reading pages from her diary to a room full of strangers. The sound is a shimmering collision of fingerstyle folk guitar, infectious pop sensibilities, glittering vocoder, and the lingering southern drawl she inherited secondhand. Ethereal at first blush, her music hides a dark countercurrent: sex, death, kink, psychedelia, devils, and blush-inducing confessions wrapped in metaphor and delivered with a wink.

Seattle singer-songwriter Halley Greg first rose to acclaim during the blind auditions on Season 20 of The Voice. Her appearance on the show coincided with the release of her debut album, American Harlot, a feminist rebranding of the pop/rock albums of the early 2000s. Filled with distorted guitar solos and pithy pop vocal melodies, the album is an ode to angry women everywhere. The first line from the title track exemplifies Greg’s brand of sultry, cutthroat sass: “Welcome home dear / Take off your shoes / I’ll massage your feet and your ego, too.” Greg’s pure and ethereal voice cuts through raucous guitar riffs, while her lyrics are so thick with social critique they’re almost punk. Think the clarity of Regina Spektor, the attitude of No Doubt, and the arrangements of Paramore.

Old Man of the Woods is the ethereal electro-pop project of Seattle-based musician and multimedia artist Miranda Elliott. Blending intimate vocals, hypnotic harmonies, swirling synths, pulsing rhythms, organic textures, and atmospheric production, she crafts sonic lockets of crooned confessions. Raised on magical realism by a landscape painter and Jungian psychologist, Elliott began writing as a way of dialoguing with her subconscious, later expanding that inquiry across mediums. Often working site-responsively, she explores memory, ephemerality, and the porous boundaries between individual, environment, and collective, creating immersive audiovisual performances and installations. Having released multiple albums - her most recent Tendrils recorded while an artist in residence at an abandoned sanatorium outside of Berlin - and toured the US and EU, Elliott now shares Cape Perpetua. This series of ambient incantations, each track a poem gradually unfurling through vocal looping and harmonic layering into meditative washes of sound, is offered as an audio embrace during the winter’s dark chill, while she completes her forthcoming post-punk EP Triptych II: Revolve.

$12 adv / GA Seated: https://tickets.venuepilot.com/e/adam-faucett-and-william-blackart-2026-08-14-the-rabbit-box-theatre-seattle-8b4f09

Little-Rock-born singer-songwriter Adam Faucett carries a voice “that knocks your brain into the back of your skull” (The Onion A.V. Club) and a catalog of swamp-soaked folk, blues, and cosmic Americana that has landed him on stages with the likes of Jason Isbell, Lucero, King Buzzo and Weedeater. Since going solo in 2006, he has released six critically praised albums—most recently New Variations of the Reaper (Last Chance Records, Sept. 2025)—and toured relentlessly across the U.S. and Europe, earning spots on American Songwriter’s “Top 50 Albums of the Year” and PopMatters’ “Top 20 Americana Albums.” His Arkansas-gothic narratives, keening and wailed, make any spot feel genuinely present, but somehow timeless.

A fixture of Seattle’s music scene, Kim Virant emerged in the ’90s as the powerhouse frontwoman of Lazy Susan, delivering a gritty yet melodic edge that earned her a reputation as a dynamic performer with an unmistakable presence. After the band parted ways, keeping the rock and twang, she launched a solo career, rooted in evocative lyrics and a voice that can soothe or shake you to your core and is always original. Her sound is organic, lived-in, and unapologetically heartfelt—reminding listeners that while eras shift, true artistry doesn’t. She has opened for Pearl Jam, Robert Plant & Jimmy Page, X, and Joan Jett—underscoring her commanding magnetism and musical prowess. 2026 brings a new album for Kim, Orion’s Belt, covering love, loss, and everything in between - produced by Max Rose. She has the good fortune to play with amazingly talented musicians: Chris Friel/drums, Gary Westlake/guitar, Jeff Rouse/bass, Max Rose/sax & guitar, Kathy Moore/guitar & piano.

$20 adv. / $25 door: https://tickets.venuepilot.com/e/adrienne-lavey-romantique-2026-08-22-the-rabbit-box-theatre-seattle-526ec6

Franca-Latina mezzo-soprano Adrienne LaVey makes her Rabbit Box debut to perform the most passionate French and Italian arias and art songs of the romantic era. With her unique chocolatey and sparkling mezzo-soprano voice, she will make you fall in love with these pieces again and again. As is her signature dramatic flair, Miss LaVey refuses to allow these pieces to be performed with sterility and perfection, but rather with the passion with which they were written. She will also reunite with tenor Timothy Keller for a heartbreaking duet from La Favorite, all accompanied by Christopher Powell on piano. Adrienne LaVey is an operationally-trained vocalist based out of Seattle with a love for French and Italian operatic repertoire. A native Washingtonian, she has made Seattle her home artistically and personally. She produces intimate, immersive, and accessible operatic shows around the Seattle area, inviting her audiences into the world of the pieces that she falls in love with, rather than what mezzo-sopranos are expected to be performing. She loves showcasing pieces that are often off the beaten path that her audiences may not have heard before, and delights when they identify with it. Adrienne has curated a cocktail, the Maiden’s Blush no2, that can be ordered at the event.

Elizabeth Ziman, who performs as Elizabeth and the Catapult, is a critically acclaimed singer/songwriter from New York, living and working in Brooklyn. She's toured with the likes of Sara Bareilles and Kishi Bashi; collaborated with Esperanza Spalding, Gillian Welch, Blake Mills and Ben Folds; scored, with Paul Brill, a variety of international award-winning documentaries including "Trapped," a Peabody winner; and won an Independent Music Award for Songwriting, Folk category. Her songs have been featured in national television campaigns for Google, Amazon and "So You Think You Can Dance" amongst others. She’s released five albums, the latest, “Sincerely, e” was released by Compass Records in 2021. Her song “Together Alone” was on All Songs Considered top 10 songs of the year in 2021. In 2025 she won the annual DAG Prize for music.

Butch Bastard is the moniker of Ian Murray (he/him), a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer crafting literate, emotionally resonant music. Originally hailing from Seattle and now based in Los Angeles, Murray’s work as Butch Bastard reflects a deep commitment to narrative songwriting, melodic sophistication, and a quietly defiant independence.

Elizabeth is joined by Jon Titterington (Father John Misty) on piano and guitar. MO - "...a converging, titanic exhibition of rock n' roll" - Paste Magazine "...like Pinkerton-era Weezer as interpreted by The Chipmunks" - Pitchfork "...one of the best power-pop artists in the underground." -  Most know him as the piano player in Father John Misty, but Jon's other musical interests have led to composition work for FX’s “The Bear,” years as a session player for hire, and many collaborations in the folk rock scenes of Hollywood and New York City. All of these experiences inform his debut solo album, See You at the Finish Line, an excursion into heartbreak, morbidity, satire, and social anxiety set to the sound of nervous, hooky pop rock.

“That slide is naaasty!!” - Bo Diddley

“You shouldn’t miss this experience. It’s cut and dried…this guy kicks ass.” - Musician Magazine (NY, NY)

“Vigarino radiates an unpredictable fervor with slashing slide guitar, powerful vocals, funky licks, modern lyrics, and his ‘slop jar delta funk’ blues. His style elevates the ‘blues’ to a place where roots are respected, yet nudged towards the future. He consistently captures, then rivets listeners with precise, passionate performances.” - Jefferson Magazine (Sweden)

“Having earned finalist status at the 2011 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Nick Vigarino has since been recognized as a world class blues act. Be it a juke or a major festival, Nick delivers the story with a stinging guitar that is second to none.” – Washington Blues Society

“Nick has released 3 CD’s, can be heard on 30+ recordings and 3 film soundtracks. He has performed in 13 countries, has been nominated for 30+ music awards in 3 countries, garnering 24, including an induction into the Washington Blues Society’s Hall of Fame and the prestigious Lifetime Acheivement Award” – Seattle Times

“Nick took to dismantling what was left of all sensibility with the skill of a surgeon and the impact of a wrecking ball. We were promised that this guy smoked, but even that’s putting things lightly.”- The Bluesletter (Seattle,WA)

“Nick plays from the heart with high energy, it is definitely THE blues” – Lee Oskar

The band seeks catharsis and exorcism: accessing the deep, sensitive part of yourself that doesn’t have space in daily life. MyVeronica embodies a DIY ethos, prioritizing authenticity and community. Formed as a group in 2021 in order to play a Halloween show, the band cut its teeth in the Los Angeles DIY scene surrounding UCLA. The band continues to play shows all over Los Angeles. Sam Weber is a Portland-based songwriter whose reputation precedes him. If you haven’t seen him in your town on one of his many extended tours, you might have seen his name on marquees beside Dawes, Feist, or Madison Cunningham (and in the latter's liner notes as a songwriter on her latest LP, Ace). His songcraft is only rivaled by his musicianship, both of which are disciplined enough to stun and feel effortless. He’s well-practiced at his trade, touring solo or with an ensemble domestically and abroad since 2013. His relentless output — now counting eight full length records in his discography — has led to an examination of human existence through self analysis, eternal in a fragmenting modern world. He is a Scorpio.

Berkley (Portland, OR) With a voice that straddles delicacy and huskiness, Portland songwriter Berkley takes the mantle from the 70s Laurel Canyon scene. Jones’s signature progressive flourishes and expansive influences keep him out of the heritage revivalism pack as he ventures into new (for him) territory of country-tinged, folk-leaning tunes on his second LP Vaquero.

Liz’s sixth album, Funeral For My Past, became a notable success after her fans raised over $150,000 on Kickstarter to fund its independent release, making her the #4 most funded solo female musician in Kickstarter history. The album received widespread acclaim, with Forbes calling it “stunning” and Billboard highlighting its diverse range from Americana to shimmering pop anthems.

Becoming a mother in 2022 profoundly impacted Liz’s songwriting, infusing her music with greater depth and perspective. Her most recent album, New Life (2025), reflects this new chapter in her life, showcasing both her personal growth and her continued evolution as an artist.

“With lyrics covering everything from vigilante cryptids to bad trips in abandoned trailers, Adira Sharkey’s songwriting sets her apart in the Americana scene. Her low-slung voice lends itself perfectly to her raw, unfiltered storytelling, where her songs take audiences to the darker side of love, longing, and life’s misadventures. Like any unusual art, her voice isn’t for everyone, even inspiring one YouTube commenter to note “weird voice.” Still others are won over by Adira’s low rasp: “[she’s] like if Cher was country”, explained PNW folk pop favorite Izzy Burns.

Often joined by an upright bass player, her rhythmic vocal arrangements and percussive finger picking is complemented with traditional roots music accompaniment, delivering a punchy alt-country sound. She’s honed a bluesy folk feel from years of playing shows up and down the west coast, and has recently had the distinct honor of opening for Grammy nominated artist Kelsey Waldon at Seattle’s Sunset Tavern. Her forthcoming debut album evokes a genre melting blend of Tom Waits and Patsy Cline, with just a pinch of Ani DiFranco. “

Warren Jackson Hearne is a nationally touring singer, multi-instrumentalist, and finger-style guitarist who writes original music blending Southern, folk, experimental, jazz, and blues. Hearne has spent decades refining a style that the Great Falls Tribune calls 'one of the most original folk musicians working today." Red McAdam-"A Jersey City, NJ native, Red makes no effort to fit the country mold, but rather draws from the unique and largely unsung landscape of his world. Stranger-than-fiction episodes from his time in the emergency services, hazy memories from the road, preposterous characters with bizarre motives, and plain old bullshit mingle with vulnerable expressions of a tumultuous life and threadbare heart.

Roxbury Saints have been steadily building a reputation as one of Seattle’s must-see live acts since 2024. Fronted by Pacific Northwest punk and soul veteran Dan Cunneen (Final Warning, The Obituaries, Zipgun, Nightcaps), the Saints are a genre-busting fever dream: torch ballads collide with swamp rock, soul grooves melt into sharp post-punk angles, and Latin-infused rhythms slip beneath defiant blues howls. Anchored by Randy Lee Fader (Dusty 45s) on guitar, Jason Reavis (Boss Martians, Jaguar Paw) on drums, and Mark Wooten (Zipgun, American Flats) on bass, the band fuses decades of collective history into a raw, modern-day sonic juggernaut.

Friday, July 10th // Doors 7pm // Show 8pm

Multi-instrumentalist Dave French – most widely known as the powerhouse drummer of Yob – arrives with his solo venture SEMANTRON, and the project’s entrancing debut LP, Secrets Of A Krummholz Heart.

Dave French has not only performed around the globe as a member of Yob, he’s played drums with Tad Doyle’s Brothers Of The Sonic Cloth, been a live collaborator with Steve Von Till and his Harvestman project, produced records for members of Soundgarden, and much more throughout his life in music. For several years, he’s been traveling with a classical guitar, writing songs in backstages and hotels, during ferry crossings, in remote landscapes, and quiet moments on the road. These pieces gradually evolved into SEMANTRON. The name of the project comes from an ancient monastic instrument: a plank of beech wood struck rhythmically with branches to call monks to meditation. The word itself is so old that its original pronunciation has long been lost to time. French chose the name because the music shares a similar purpose—slow, resonant, and meditative.

Performing every instrument on Secrets Of A Krummholz Heart, having recorded acoustic foundations in an off-grid cabin on Mt. Adams before completing drums, bass, electric guitars, and vocals between his home studio and the rehearsal space of Yob, French blended acoustic and electric textures with field recordings gathered from the natural world: ravens and owls, alpine wind, rivers, stone percussion from mountain talus slopes, rhythms played on living trees, and the slow dripping of meltwater from an Icelandic glacier. The record was mixed by Nathan Yaccino (Soundgarden, Norah Jones, A Storm Of Light), mastered by Tad Doyle (Tad, Brothers Of The Sonic Cloth), and completed with art/layout by Dave French.

The result is deeply immersive music that unfolds patiently, drawing the listener into a meditative landscape of sound. The result is immersive and deeply personal music—patient, atmospheric, and elemental—echoing the expansive spirit of Pink Floyd and the ritualistic beauty of Dead Can Dance.

“Tad Doyle, best known for the bands TAD, BROTHERS OF THE SONIC CLOTH, HOG MOLLY, H-HOUR, and others will be performing solo with some of his most recent film score works. This will be his first live performance since 2006. Expect the unexpected.”

The Rabbit Box presents Nathan O'Flynn-Pruitt / John Swanke / Little H Collective /Samuel Baca-Henry

Nathan O'Flynn-Pruitt released his debut LP "Songs from Behind a Mountain" last year on esteemed Brooklyn label Figure and Ground Records. The album was honored with PopMatters' no.18 spot on their Top 25 Best Folk Albums of 2025 list. Other accolades include: "On his first full-length of songs for acoustic guitar and vocals, there’s a joy in letting go, as these tracks are rangy, strict, and unexpected, something I don’t often encounter in the steely fingerpicking… A solid debut.” -Doug Mosurock, Heathen Disco. “The primitivist leanings of Songs From Behind a Mountain are often disarmingly raw, making the record a deeply intimate listening experience. The album is a rich tapestry of rough edges.” -Chris Ingalls, PopMatters

John Swanke is a Camano Island based home recording artist crafting atmospheric, guitar driven explorations of ambient, drone, and folk music.

Little H Collective is the moniker of Stephen Harrison's many creative endeavors in ambient soundscapes, woodworking, and graphic design. He has released music under this umbrella since 2017, and on Sun Cru Music since 2023. Most of Stephen's recordings were made using an assemblage of guitars and musical esoterica that he built. The woodworking informs his music, the music informs his design, and all of this work is bolstered by his teaching at an elementary school in the Pacific Northwest. His songs are structured around simple melodies that roil and swell into lush vistas supported by an undercurrent of tonal ephemera collected along the way. Stephen considers his playing to be a form of meditation that both calms and invigorates the mind. With each listen, his music evokes a sense of wonder and new discovery.

Samuel Baca-Henry is an author, historian, and experimental/noise musician based in Seattle. He is the author of the book Lament of Hathor, which traces the historical intertwined oppressions of people, animals, and ecosystems by the growing empires and city-states of Bronze Age Egypt, Mesopotamia, the Levant, Eastern Mediterranean, and beyond through an imagined mythological tapestry synthesizing these and other connected cultural traditions. Baca-Henry also writes about late 19th & early 20th century Seattle/Washington histories of intertwined exploitation of labor, animals, and ecosystems. These include the story of Bess the mule, whose months-long uninterrupted forced labor was uncovered after a fatal 1914 coal mine collapse near Black Diamond, WA. He will be giving a live audio-visual reading/sound performance telling the story of the 1910 Seattle Teamsters' strike after their boss took away their horses' lunches to save costs.

"When music journalists say things like 'this artist is a fixture in Seattle music,' there’s probably no one right now who fits that title better than Nakayama." - KEXP

Seattle artist Tomo Nakayama’s fourth album "Ocean" will be released on November 7th on Porchlight Records/Den Tapes in the USA, and in Japan on Lemon House Inc. Following his breakthrough 2020 synthpop album "Melonday",“Ocean” is Tomo’s return to a graceful, lush, organic full-band sound, backed by pianist Yuuki Matthews (The Shins), bassist Abbey Blackwell (Alvvays), and drummer Christopher Icasiano (Fleet Foxes) and featuring guest turns by Jesy Fortino (Tiny Vipers) and Debbie Miller. It is his most personal and complete musical statement to date, a self-produced ten song reflection on grief, healing, and the meaning of creating art and maintaining humanity in a tumultuous world. “Ocean” travels across sonic worlds of dream pop, orchestral acoustic folk, improvisational jazz, psychedelia and indie rock, all tied together by a wide open melodic and lyrical heart. "Ocean" is a deeply collaborative album awash in images of the sea, serving as metaphors for the vastness of love, human connection, and our capacity to clearly see and be one with the world. Born in Japan and raised in Seattle, Tomo Nakayama has explored the lines between intimate indie folk, exuberant synth pop, and cinematic soundtracks for over two decades. Best known for placements in Netflix’s “House of Ninjas” and the Sundance Grand Jury nominated film “Touchy Feely”, Tomo’s music has been praised by NPR, KEXP, and the New York Times, and his hit single “Get to Know You” received over 2 million streams worldwide. He has toured across the world, sharing the stage with artists such as Cornelius, Ron Sexsmith, Fruit Bats, Thao, and Stella Donnelly. A versatile multi-instrumentalist and composer, Tomo has also accompanied and collaborated with Dave Matthews, Jeremy Enigk (of Sunny Day Real Estate), Sera Cahoone, Jherek Bischoff, Jesse Sykes, Donnie Emerson (Dreamin’ Wild, Light in the Attic), and experimental dance company Malacarne.

Future Spells + 600 Salad Bowls + Dreams Down Deep

The Rabbit Box presents Future Spells + 600 Salad Bowls + Dreams Down Deep ~ “Letting Machines Decide what Matters”

Sunday, June 28th // Doors 6pm // Show 7pm

$12 adv. https://tickets.venuepilot.com/e/letting-machines-decide-what-matters-2026-06-28-the-rabbit-box-theatre-seattle-f52047

Future Spells is an experimental, ambient project made up of Luna Moss members Char Easter and Dan Blossom. At its stream-of-conscious core, are dreamscape vocals over electronic dub beats. For this performance, Blossom, known for his sublime guitar soundscapes, will be creating in Ableton Live. Expect unpredictable patternless paths that lead to a hypnotic tranquility-and a guest dancer, on occasion.

600 Salad Bowls has been snaking its way through the landscape of time offering a fresh listen to the written words of Helena Rogers. While these words are usually striving to find their way atop the beautiful cacophony of her current trio Student Nurse, she is here inviting you to be able to clearly hear each word while they are sometimes spoken sometimes sung over a bed of scintillating computer-based electronica tracks composed by herself in collaboration with John Rogers and Eric Muhs (also of Student Nurse). This minimalist approach is sure to please the aurally fatigued masses!

Dreams Down Deep s a post-modern, alternative rock band based in Seattle founded by singer/songwriter Randall Lorin Pape. Influences include: Wim Wenders and Siouxsie Sioux, Jim Jarmusch and Nick Cave, Radiohead and Blonde Redhead, Bela Legosi and Bauhaus. Their music is infused with personal narrative and colorful optimism against an apocalyptic world.

The Rabbit Box presents Brood Awakening ~ Monthly Student Jam Session with The Student House Rhythm Section featuring special guest, saxophonist, Alexey Nikolaev.

Sunday, June 28th / 4pm to 6pm

Free Admission! This ongoing series is self funded and open to student musicians that want real jazz jam session experience!

“ Hi! We’re Brood Awakening, a student jazz group from Seattle. Over the last two years, we've hosted a monthly all-ages jam session at Seattle Jazz Fellowship and the Black & Tan Hall. It has been one of the most meaningful parts of our musical journey. We’ve met other musicians, learned a lot, and gained real experience performing on stage.

This year, we’re looking for funding to launch our own Brood Awakening Student Jam Session. It will be a free, monthly jazz jam for students in the greater Seattle area. The Ephemera Tour (Ethan Buckner + Jessie Thoreson + Special Guest)

The Rabbit Box presents The Ephemera Tour ft. Ethan Buckner & Jessie Thoreson & special guest, Erick Irons.

Thursday, June 25th // Doors 7:30pm // Music 8:00pm

$18 adv. : https://tickets.venuepilot.com/e/the-ephemera-tour-ethan-buckner-jessie-thoreson-special-guest-2026-06-25-the-rabbit-box-theatre-seatt-2e8f39

Jessie Thoreson is a singer-songwriter from Seattle, Washington. Drawing inspiration from classic storytellers like Joni Mitchell and John Prine, Jessie Thoreson pairs folk roots and instrumentation with the emotional grit and complexity of artists like Fiona Apple, Madison Cunningham, and St. Vincent. Her most recent album, Return to the Ground, is a meditation on life’s cyclical nature. Each song connects ecological patterns to emotional cycles, exploring themes of change, repetition, and renewal. When not playing music, Jessie works as a fire ecologist, studying how wildfire reshapes, renews, and reinforces our cultural and ecological systems. That idea of transformation runs through her music, which often explores natural systems, human behavior, and the tension between destruction and renewal. Playful yet sophisticated, her songs celebrate life’s contradictions, cycles, and the beauty found in between.

Los Angeles indie folk/pop troubadour, activist, and community builder Ethan Buckner wants you to see who he really is: his traumas and triumphs, anxieties and hopes. His debut LP Treading Water, produced by grammy-nominee Justin Glasco (Paris Paloma, Lone Bellow), weaves between moments both intimate and anthemic, exploring struggles that are both deeply personal and unavoidably collective. Following a whirlwind year of touring and releases, including a headline debut at LA’s iconic Troubadour, Ethan and Justin are hard at work on Ephemera, his second LP. The project is Ethan’s reckoning and redemption, written after Ethan found himself immobilized for months in early 2025 following a severe back injury. His new work casts an invitation to embrace vulnerability as a source of power.

Lushy

Lushy

Lushy is a progressive cocktail pop trio from Seattle who serve up danceable and lounge-y atmospherica with hints of electronica and influences from the '60s, '70s, '80s... to NOW! These reverent yet joyous inventors/re-inventors create cinematic soundtracks for your listening and dancing pleasure. They have a suitcase of originals with a few choice covers tossed in. Lushy is unlike any other band in the Northwest — with their own special sound, it's apparent that people appreciate their diversity and the atmosphere they create at shows. What other band would play Devo and Nino Rota in the same set? It's a little kooky and very cool. Dig it!!

100 Miles of Music presents Canadian Music Nights #1

100 Miles of Music presents Canadian Music Nights #1 starring James Young & Friends, featuring Erin McNamee, Jonny Evergreen, and Ian Jones, w/ special guests at The Rabbit Box

Wednesday, June 20th // Doors 6:30pm // Music 7:30pm

$25 adv. GA Seated https://tickets.venuepilot.com/e/canadian-music-nights-1-2026-06-20-the-rabbit-box-theatre-seattle-289868

GA Seated & Standing Room Tickets may be available at the door. The Rabbit Box is an intimate performance space & first come, first seated.

Canadian Music Nights #1, is the first in a series of concerts where American artists will be celebrating their love of Canadian music and the culture that created it. We will be singing the timeless songs that our neighbors up north penned or simply made famous.

We will be working with Canadian music journalist Phil Saunders on considering songs we have yet to discover, as well as highlighting music that should be better known on both sides of the border. Phil Saunders is a former CBC journalist and author of the book No Flash Please: Underground Music in Toronto 1987-1992. His deep knowledge and scholarship has already made this music series a more authentic study of Canadian song. His research and first hand experience exploring the relationships between Canadian and American musicians, is one of the major touchstones of the night.

More of a musical bridge than simply a headliner, our own Pike Place Gospel music legend, James Young will be at the top of the bill, as we present his unique collection of multi talented music friends that will perform Canadian music they connect with deeply. We will also be showcasing some music from a forthcoming solo album by Mr. Young that has been made possible by Friends of The Market, a group of citizens of Seattle that have themselves had a unique role in preserving and protecting Pike Place. Erin McNamee,Jonny Evergreen, Ian Jones and more special guests to be announced, will be accompanying James Young, and performing as soloists. The evening will be presented by the radio show 100 Miles of Music and emceed by program's hosts, Davin Stedman and Stevor Compton. Not coincidentally, Phil Saunders was the co-owner of the short lived Canadian American magazine that's mission of connecting our two nations inspired Davin to create 100 Miles of Music, as a clever way to describe the fact that nearly the entire population of Canada lives within 100 miles of the United States.

Canadian Music Nights was a thought that Davin Stedman had about what could actually be done to encourage Canadians we love to come back to Seattle to visit Pike Place Market. It's no secret that the number of Canadians crossing the border has dropped off a cliff because of circumstances beyond our control. But in looking for a solution like a Stoic he realized that there are some things we can control and one of them is music. Another is how we can treat each other with empathy, kindness, and dignity. After all, the #1 tell Davin discovered when spotting a Canadian was not how they say the words "aboot" or "so-ree". It was simply how kind they were. So we stole a page from that playbook and with the help of Pike Place Gospel legend, James Young who has been described as our own Mr. Rogers, we are turning empathy and kindness into action. We have gathered an incredible group of music friends to express our love for not just Canadians, but the visitors and immigrants of all kinds that make places like Pike Place Market not just profitable, but possible. This is where action meets word. This is about utilizing the power of music the way we should to bring our communities together.
